Последний на данный момент альбом от канадцев. Их предыдущий Moving Monoliths мне очень понравился - уж очень хорошо они справились с атмосферой и темпом песен. Думовский элементов здесь стало меньше, чем в предыдущей работе, но зато группа разнообразила звучание - появились соло, особенно стали хороши барабаны.Tracklist:

Шведы, видимо, в курсе, кто такой Куортон и Батори либо уже на генетическом уровне, либо действительно помнят и чтут память музыканта. Альбом, который начинается броским и медленным эпик-метал в духе самых добротных работ Куортона в 90-х, весьма неплохо контрастирует с традиционным металлом. И получается эдакая смесь, которая, конечно, не нова(Satan's Host), но весьма неплохо исполненная. Альбом то и дело напоминает, что каркас здесь от блэкухи(и викинг-метал), однако также много и хэви. И назовите это хэви-блэк или блэк-хэви, ближайшая ассоциация будет, конечно, - Satan's Host(я даже пару схожих моментов уловил), а если более широко - Mercyful Fate, который таки не выдержал и с концами ушёл в мелодичный блэк. Я же склонен сказать, что это достаточно хороший эпик-метал, который порой теряет цепкость из-за хронометража и общей достаточно прохладной и однотипной атмосферы. Тем не менее, послушать определённо стоит.

"Ничего особенного, но слушаю постоянно" - вот так бы я выразил свое мнение об этом альбоме. Упрощенная и опопсенная версия предыдущего "Lotus'а" все равно довольно цепляет и легко льется в уши благодаря неплохим риффам, унаследованным с предшественника, мелодике и секси-вокалу.
