Great fucking news!

Blind Guardian сообщили о переиздании четырех своих альбомов - "Battalions Of Fear", "Follow The Blind", "Tales From The Twilight World" и "Somewhere Far Beyond". Они будут ремастированы и выпущены ни CD и виниле.

Новая песня Hatchet и детали нового альбома

30 октября на лейбле ‘The End Records’ трэшеры из Района Залива Сан-Франциско Hatchet выпустят свой третий альбом ‘Fear Beyond Lunacy’. В группе произошли кардинальные изменения. За исключением основателя коллектива Джулза Рамоса (вокал/гитара) в команду пришли следующие музыканты: Клейтон Кегл (гитара), Коуди Барба (бас) и Бен Смит (барабаны). Новые участники привнесли в коллектив свежую энергию, а фэны Hatchet будут довольны новой пластинкой. 

 

Рамос сказал: «Более быстрые и трэшевые композиции звучат ещё мощнее и убойнее, чем раньше, а мелодичный материал цепляет ещё сильнее. А ещё на этот раз мы попробовали поэкспериментировать с более тяжелым и средним темпом». 

Рамос: «Мы решили, что ‘The World Beyond’ отлично подходит для того, чтобы ознакомить фэнов с новым альбомом. В нём присутствует как средний темп, так и быстрый, а ещё в припеве вы услышите классные выкрикивания в стиле старой школы. Это не самая быстрая и мелодичная песня на альбоме. Мы просто хотели, чтобы люди попробовали на вкус новый материал Hatchet, но при этом мы не стали раскрывать все карты сразу. Дальше будет только лучше!» 

Рамос об обложке альбома: «Обложку нарисовал хорватский музыкант/художник Андрей Бартулович, который работал с нами и на предыдущем альбоме ‘Dawn Of The End’. Обложка иллюстрирует моё видение того, в кого превращается современное общество. Общество объятых страхом рабов, зависящих от мнения средств массовой информации и телевидения. Средства массовой информации и телевидение указывают, как нам жить и чего бояться сегодня, завтра, в следующем месяце/году. Особенно, я считаю, это касается американцев. Постоянно существует какой-нибудь великий заговор или предсказания конца света и прочие природные катастрофы, о которых говорили ещё сотни лет назад, а мы должны жить в страхе. Ситуация выходит из-под контроля – это и иллюстрирует обложка; человека, который в конечном итоге теряет разум из-за всего происходящего и вот к чему мы можем прийти, если не задумаемся».

Beyond Fear - Beyond Fear (2006)

Тим Оуэнс по прозвищу "Риппер" (Потрошитель) хорошо известен всем любителям тяжелой музыки по альбомам записанным вместе с Легендерными и Великими Judas Priest. Два студийника стали самими неоднозначными альбомами этого коллектива из-за своей жесткости и агрессии, даже туповатости. Но именно эти диски дали путевку в жизнь одному из сильнейших вокалистов мировой тяжелой сцены, молодому парню из провинциального городка ненавистной, и проклинаемой всеми людьми мира Америки. Мощь его голоса неописуема, диапазоны запредельны. Сейчас он является основным вокалистом известной и уважаемой формации Iced Earth, возглавляемой одним из патриархов стиля Power/Трэш, Джоном Шаффером.Beyond Fear - это сольный проект талантливого вокалиста. Что же мы получили? Во-первых, если вы ищете здесь изящные гитарные мелодии, красивые соляки или техничную игру - вам явно не по адресу. Этим здесь воооообще не пахнет! Имеем мы абсолютно примитивную, туповатую долбежку, рубилово и мясо. Все сыграно в среднем и средне-скоростном темпе. Этот стиль можно назвать Power/Трэшем, с большой долей хеви метала. Казалось бы, с такой музыкой группе никогда не выбраться из середнячков этого стиля, но.... НО, как только ты начинаешь слушать эту музыку, весь мир идет к *****!! Такой мощи, агрессии, драйва и энергетики в одном диске найти сейчас нереально. Всякий тру-метал-блекари-дефари нервно курят в сторонке. Слушая эту музыку, так и хочется одеть свою старую и потертую косуху, распустить волосы и получить заряд настоящего метал-адреналина. Этот альбом - вершина вокального мастерства Оуэнса. Колонки разрываются от его пронзительно и сметающего все на своем пути голоса... Казалось, как может человек так петь (заметьте, не орать, не выкрикивать, а именно петь!), никакие связки это не выдержат... Каждый трек альбома содержит просто неописуемый заряд мощи, энергии, СИЛЫ сосредоточенной в этом голосе. Музыка, хоть и является простым рубиловом, содержит в себе огромное количество драйва и заставляет тебя получить, что называется моральный оргазм, настолько все МОЩНО! Альбом проносится на одном дыхании... Не задумывайтесь о прямолинейности и туповатости музыки, о не несущих особой смысловой нагрузки текстах, просто войдите в этот поток метала, послушайте ЭТОТ голос, и вы поймете, что блэк и дэт, со всей их агрессией, трушностью и уникальностью - чистое НИЧТО по сравнению с этим альбомом. 6. The Return Of The Undead Smurfs (Gargamels Revenge II)

Out of the ashes
Of the destroying (smurf) village
One survivor rose
That day he swore not to rest
Until Gargamel was dead

While walking through the woods
A shadow emerged from behind the trees
Together they returned to the ruins of the village

The village was desolated
Smashed to pieces and burned down
The limbs of the poor smurfs
Scattered all over the ground
But their flesh was still warm

Together they decided to perform
The ancient smurf ritual of necromancy
In order to invoke the fallen ones
To create the army of undead smurfs

Under the sign of the blue mark
They marched towards Gargamels castle
The old sorcerer did not know
What horrible evil would strike upon him

8. Emigrantvisan

Vi sålde våra hemman och gav oss sedan ut,
som fågelen bortflyger, när sommaren tar slut.
Han kommer en gång åter när våren skrider fram,
men vi få aldrig skåda vårt kära fosterland.

Och när vi kommo till den liverpoolska hamn
begynte ångerns tårar så stritt att bryta fram.
Det blev en hjärtans sveda i bröstet på var och en.
Man talar blott om Sverige och om sitt förra hem.

Vi packades tillsammans uti ett osunt kvav.
Det var för oss att skåda liksom en öppen grav.
Och födan som vi fraktat ifrån vår svenska jord
den blev oss nu förbjuden att taga med ombord.

Och när vi hade seglat en vecka eller två,
ett mörker däcket höljde och bredde sig därpå.
Ej se varann vi kunde, knappt andas eller gå.
Det var en gruvlig plåga för stora och för små.

Nu blir en ömklig hunger, med sorg och grät och gny.
En jämmer som sig tränger till himlens höga sky.
Och döden gruvligt härjar bland mänskorna ombord.
Man ser de döda kastas i havets vilda flod.

Det är det som grämer mitt hjärta till min död.
Att se de arma barnen här gråta efter bröd.
Vi kunde ej dem hjälpa, ej lindra deras snöp.
De måste nu få gråta och sedan därpå dö.
