Довелось мне в моё отсутствие на реакторе общаться с основателем блэк-метал проекта местного. Интересный опыт, скажем так. И хоть мы сходимся с ним во мнениях о многих вещах, всё же его мировоззрение достаточно далеко от моего. Тем не менее, он познакомил меня с вещами в блэкухе, о которых я не знал и сейчас я хочу поделиться его проектом тут. Это альбом 2015 года, когда он уже не был формальным участником группы, но сюда включено демо, где он непосредственно есть. Это хороший атмосферный блэк-метал, хоть и, очевидно, несколько паршивенько записаный.

Не было в 2018 году альбома, которого я бы так часто слушал, тем более такого уникального. Созданный басистом A Forest of Stars вместе с экс-маткорщиком из Tangaroa, тут маткор особо не слышится. Зато слышится бас-гитара, которая тут основной инструмент. Потому звучание особенно "жирное", ну как для блэка.
Достаточно уникальный атмосферный проект из Норвегии. Следующий их альбом "The Cainian Chronicle" нравится мне несколько меньше, хотя и знакомиться с их творчеством я начал именно с него. Видимо, из-за несколько диссонансной мелодики и прямолинейной ярости этот альбом нравится мне больше. Наверно, первый релиз, который приходит мне на ум, когда говорят о классическом чёрном металле. Зло, атмосфера и неподдельная ужасающая красота происходящего не оставляют равнодушным от прослушивания сего опуса.

Vi sålde våra hemman och gav oss sedan ut, som fågelen bortflyger, när sommaren tar slut. Han kommer en gång åter när våren skrider fram, men vi få aldrig skåda vårt kära fosterland.
Och när vi kommo till den liverpoolska hamn begynte ångerns tårar så stritt att bryta fram. Det blev en hjärtans sveda i bröstet på var och en. Man talar blott om Sverige och om sitt förra hem.
Vi packades tillsammans uti ett osunt kvav. Det var för oss att skåda liksom en öppen grav. Och födan som vi fraktat ifrån vår svenska jord den blev oss nu förbjuden att taga med ombord.
Och när vi hade seglat en vecka eller två, ett mörker däcket höljde och bredde sig därpå. Ej se varann vi kunde, knappt andas eller gå. Det var en gruvlig plåga för stora och för små.
Nu blir en ömklig hunger, med sorg och grät och gny. En jämmer som sig tränger till himlens höga sky. Och döden gruvligt härjar bland mänskorna ombord. Man ser de döda kastas i havets vilda flod.
Det är det som grämer mitt hjärta till min död. Att se de arma barnen här gråta efter bröd. Vi kunde ej dem hjälpa, ej lindra deras snöp. De måste nu få gråta och sedan därpå dö.

Был у нас украинский блэк, теперь немного российского и новенького. Атмосферная вещь, хотя и не настолько, как, к примеру, тот же ранний Drudkh, параллели с которым то там, то тут. В принципе, из этих самых параллелей выделить могу наличие "легкого" фолка. + альбом на удивление очень "светлый", "теплый", порой даже помпезный. А вообще, звучит как будто Аббат решил податься в атмосферик.
Не смотря на то, что я не то, чтобы прямо следил за локальной сценой, выискивая что-то новое время от времени, тем не менее, несколько странно, что этот альбом я как-то упустил.
Да, это очередной украинский атмо-блэк проект с, как пишут на метал-архивах, влиянием музыки российских блэкеров Walknut. Тут не могу согласиться или оспорить — пока не слушал. Но что могу сказать по поводу этого альбома, так это, что он действительно как и водится в хорошем атмо-блэке чарует и завораживает. Видимо, дело в клавишных и умелом их сочетании с гитарными риффами. С другой стороны, как я обозначил выше — это вполне типичный атмо-блэк, но "типичность" здесь — не упрёк. Альбом как твой любимый напиток: вроде, пьёшь его достаточно часто, но тебе нравится и хочется ещё.
