В самом начале пути они же рубили настоящий блек, а когда перешли на дэт, сохранили идеологию (что очень важно для блека) и некоторые, чисто технические, черты от блека, так и получился блэк/дэт, он же приблекованный дэт, как свою музыку называет сам Адам Дарский - "Бегемот - это блек нового тысячелетия. ЫЫЫАААГРХ!!1"

На самом деле, похоже на немного приблекованный дэт - не из-за перевёрнутых крестов, но из-за риффов и ударных, для полной картины не хватает только мрачных мелодий.
