Лонгплей «Songs From the North I, II & III» звучит в общей сложности чуть более двух с половиной часов (153+ минут),- это чертов тройной альбом,- редко кто способен проделать такую работу в век сиюминутности и повального дефицита внимания. Когда понимаешь, что легендарный двойной альбом PINK FLOYD «The Wall» предлагал скудные 80 минут, безумие этого сборника становится очевидным :(
Огромный объем материала настолько впечатляет, что многие едва ли найдут в себе терпение, чтобы осилить его полностью. Но это позорная тактика...
Диск I Gloom
- можно считать классическим для группы: печальный среднетемповый дум/дэт, традиционно приправленный мелодичными элементами.
Диск II Beauty
- выглядит возвышенным и парящим. Здесь группа отходит от привычного жанра, чтобы совершить глубокое погружение в печальную готику, инди- и альтернативный рок.
Диск III Despair
- коллектив затягивает гайки и приступает к равномерному, медлительному и тяжелому фьюнерал-думу, который звучит приятно по сравнению с остальной частью представителей жанра, но сама длина песен делает путешествие сродни борьбе за выживание...
